Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be condemned

July 27, 2008

In other words, do not let your heart condemn you.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

The devil, the accuser of the brethren, goes about like a roaring lion seeking those whom he may devour.

If we let our hearts condemn us, we naturally become devourable.

Have we been accused of doing some things that we should not have done?  Whether it is true or not.
Jesus’ blood cleanses us from ALL our sins and makes us pure every moment of the day for the rest of our lives.  Knowing we are pure and loved, gives us the strength to face life knowing full well that we are right with God and God is on our side.   If God is for us, who can be against us?   Even if the majority seems to be right, God and I are a greater majority.

There are some billionaires today, they were in huge debts in the millions or billions in the past.   If they wallow themselve in self-pity and condemnation, they will continue to remain in debt and would not have come out of the furnance unscathed without any smell of smoke.

A pure heart is our direct access to God the Father.   Let not our hearts condemn us.  If we do, we cut off the life line direct access to the source of our unllimited supplies.   The Almighty, all merciful and full of lovingkindness Abba Father.    Knowing that God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved (prospered, delivered, made good, blessed).

Let us continue to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.   How can He give us faith, and bring us to the end of our struggles, if we dare not, do not or will not look at Him?   The key to seeing God’s miracles in our situation is ”looking” unto Jesus, not just look and walk away, but a continuous looking.  Till we see the situation is past, handled and our miracle has arrived.   When we keep looking at Jesus, faith is effortless, our miracles are secured.  Most importantly, we become more and more like Him, when we keep looking at Him.  HE is altogether lovely.

Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  Let not your heart be condemned.

Remember there are plenty of goodies in our Father’s house, more than enough for all the children of God.  No need to fight over them.  There may be siblings rivalry, there may be some elder brothers who have always been in the Father’s house who have been toiling very hard but have not learnt to ask the Father for goodies to have a party with their friends… and they are jealous of what we can receive.   Love them, don’t despise them.  Most importantly, in the world outside, there may be famine, but in our Father’s house Jesus has already prepared plenty of goodies for us.  Let us remain in our Father’s house, because in our Father’s house there is no lack, there is abundance.

All that we need to overcome the obstacles in our lives are found in our Father’s house too.

Remain, don’t run away from our Father’s house.   But don’t come back and stir up a fight.  Just remain and enjoy the Father’s love.

God specializes in the Impossibles

Have we many times prayed for the seemingly impossible and we received answers to our prayers?

Exactly or even better than what we have ever asked for or dreamed of?

Yes?   That is God at work for us in our lives.

I remember praying for a car … a family car … I prayed for Abba to bless us with a car … which was way too expensive for us to get one.  Also both of us worked very near the place we stayed, there was not much reasons for us to own a car except that my parents-in-law are old and probably it would be more convenient to have a family car when we go out for family dinners over the weekends.

Yes, Abba showed me a car after I asked Him in a church worship service.   But He showed me a Ferrari sports car.  I was so shocked that I sat on the floor laughing (I was actually kneeling when I asked Him when everyone else were standing and worshipping Him in songs).

To cut the long story short, the brand new family car was paid off in just a little longer than a year.  Which to me was indeed a miracle!

There seems to be a financial famine in the world at the moment.

Well, we can activate our Abba Father to provide for the needs of His children in the seemingly impossible environment.   My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.  We shall lack no good thing.  It is already good enough that we shall not lack, but He wants to go beyond that He says we shall lack no good thing.

Psalm 37
4
Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 34
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

He indeed specializes in the impossible. Commune with Him with our heart.   He will give us the desires of our heart. He asks us to call unto Him and He will show us great and mighty things which we know not.    His plans are always to prosper us and not to tear us down, His plans are always to give us a hope and a future.   We are His beloved children.

I witnessed this last Friday when I prayed against the trend and asking for the impossible.   My little faith limited the answered prayer instead.   There was a little breakthrough for me that Friday.   And I told Him I want to experience more of such breakthroughs in the days, weeks, months and years to come.

Let us dare to believe big things from the hands of my loving Abba.   Let us dare to ask Him for the impossibles that only He can do.

Let us dare to believe when He delivers the supplies, don’t be like me in one occasion when I asked for 140 persons to attend a four consecutive weeks course and I only prepared for room enough to seat 100 attendees.   Honestly when my pastor who was opening up the partition to make room for the 40 more people, he asked me how many people I actually asked the Lord for.   I sheepishly told him I asked for 140, and he said “then prepare for 140″ …   can i be honest here?   How do I know He really answers?  Do you know that in my heart and from the history of past events, we would consider the session a success if there were 50 attendees.   140 to me was asking for the impossible.   Hee …  This is a good problem … we should have more of this faith stretching exercises …

The time to ask is now, in the time when it seems impossible for such and such and such to happen.  Sit back, relax and see how Abba gets to work in answer to our prayers.   He always does it in style.  Let Him surprise us.  Really.

Can we really see where we will be maybe by Christmas this year?   Just ask, and see Him surpassing that.

When the world is facing financial famine, we are in Goshen aren’t we?

I know that I will be receiving testimonies after testimonies of how good Abba is to all of us His children who dare to ask Him for the impossibles as a result of this challenge issued in this blog today.
