Luke 18
35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
John 14
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
The begger prayed a demanding prayer … shouting all the more when the crowd kept asking him to shut up … he got his miracle … finally
… and Jesus did not reprimand him for shouting … nor demanding …
See how kind Jesus is?
He is still the same today as He was yesterday, and He will be the same kind Jesus forever!
Praise Him!
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take note, it is His righteousness not mine … that ALL THESE THINGS shall be added unto me …
I am not an “altogether godly” Christian. But at times I certainly know how to ask my heart’s desire from my Abba God. Yes, you got it, just like a child demanding from his/her parent to buy a plate of french fries when there are lots of varieties of food to choose from.
Do you have an example of a demanding prayer that Abba God answered? You know that you know that you have received what you asked for in prayer when Abba God indeed answered you on the spot where you prayed such prayer. For this kind of prayer you need not another person to say “amen” with you. You know in your heart that you have already received what you have asked for.
I asked Abba God for a car in a church worship, desperately asking Him to give me a car … it was not cheap to own a car about 10years ago … and I saw a sports car when I was asking with my eyes closed. I sat on the floor laughing … to cut the long story short … we bought our first family car … first hand … and fully paid within one year …
